Renovation

Wenceslas Square No. 19

The renovation of this neobaroque palace dating back to the late 19th century and designed by architects Bedřich Ohman and Osvald Polívka was one of our most challenging and complex projects. It included restoration of historical frescoes, a staircase, statues on the front façade and other unique elements. The historical structure, listed by UNESCO, had modern elements implemented into it, such as a glass lift, while the ground floor was converted into commercial premises, including a patisserie. The total value of the renovation amounted to approximately CZK 280 million. Project implementation: 2002–2003.

We have also renovated two hotels in the historical centre of Prague: Myo Hotel Mysterius in Masná street, a multi-storey building, where we combined modern materials with historical features and elements, and a hotel located in Krakovská street, where, despite the extremely confined space, we have successfully renovated the entire building.

Over the past decade, we have also renovated several ecclesiastical buildings, such as presbyteries in Říčany u Prahy and Nové Strašecí, or a church in Tehov, and we built two new chapels.
